Description

The villa, an ex-farmhouse built in the late 19th century, is situated on the hills of Valdichiana, just a few kilometres south of Arezzo, the town of gold and of the celebrated Antique Fair held on every first Sunday of the month and on the preceding Saturday in Piazza Grande and in the neighbouring streets. In Arezzo is also the church of San Francesco, which houses the "Legend of the True Cross", the famous cycle of frescoes by Piero della Francesca. Last but not least, between the end of August and the first week of September in Arezzo takes place the Giostra del Saracino.
A tennis club, a golf club and a riding stable are just a few kilometres from the villa. Lake Trasimeno and Rapolano Terme spas are within easy driving distance.


The Outdoors

The complex is surrounded by a fully fenced garden, in which are a barbecue, a wood-burning oven, a children's playground with a slide, a swing, a covered sandbox, a plastic playhouse and mini football goals, a gazebo and a table for having meals al fresco.
About 20 metres from the villa lies the private swimming pool (12x6 m; depth: 1.10-2.20 m), equipped with external shower and sun loungers.


Accommodation

The complex consists in a villa and a cottage and in total sleeps 9+3 guests in 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 1 triple bedroom, 1 double sofa bed and 1 supplementary single bed, and has 2 bathrooms.

The villa is a two-storey building that sleeps 6+3 guests in 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 1 double sofa bed and 1 supplementary single bed, and has 1 bathroom.
On the ground floor are the large kitchen and a living/dining room with fireplace, double sofa bed and piano.
The first floor composes of two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower.

In the cottage are three single beds (two can be united to form a double bed) and a bathroom with shower.

A supplementary single bed can be added in one of the bedrooms in the villa.
