Description
The villa (12 sleeping accommodations) stands in panoramic position on the Tuscan side of the Apennines, in Mugello, just a few kilometres from Florence. The elegant historical building has been recently renovated but still presents some of its original elements, including beamed ceilings in some rooms and warm Tuscan terracotta-tiled floors. The rooms are furnished with period furniture and decorated with valuable paintings and prints. The balconies and the windows of the villa offer a breathtaking view of the valley below.
In the wide park surrounding the building lies the swimming pool (15x7.5 m). The poolside is furnished with sunloungers and sunshades. A chapel and a groove of century-old trees are in the park, as well. A portico is furnished with table and chairs for eating al fresco.
The villa is the ideal accommodation for any kind of tourists: those who love history and art con visit the magnificent Medicean villas and Romanesque churches in the neighbourhood; sports fans can hike, mountain bike or horse ride along the pathways stretching around the estate or dedicate to water sports in the nearby lake of Bilancino; and shopaholics cannot pass up the chance to visit the Barberino Outlet Village, just a few kilometres from the villa.
Last but not least, the villa is also an excellent starting point for trips to Arezzo, Pisa, Siena and Lucca, all lying within easy car reach.
Accommodation
The villa (6 double bedrooms and 7 bathrooms) spreads out over two floors connected by two internal staircases. The ground floor composes of hallway, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, two living rooms with fireplace and 2 bathrooms. The first floor composes of living room with fireplace and TV, 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with shower or bathtub, 4 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. One of the bedrooms features a wide balcony, whereas two of them open onto a large portico.
Facilities
The villa is provided with an exclusively reserved to guests swimming pool, barbecue equipment, TV, washing machine, telephone (on request), iron. Cot for children available on request.
Services
Supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, banks, chemists` and the post office are in Vicchio, about 4 kilometres from the villa. In Vicchio there are also a bus station and a railway station with busses and trains for Florence.

La villa est merveilleuse. Elle était impeccablement briquée à notre arrivée, le jardin était au bouton, la piscine parfaitement entretenue. Nous avons été bien accueilli par une dame ne parlant qu'italien. Le propriétaire est passé le deuxième jour pour prendre de nos nouvelles. Le séjour fut très agréable grâce car la maison est vaste et fraîche, Florence n'est pas loin (nous y sommes allé en train pour ne pas avoir de difficultés de parking). Nous avons remercié le propriétaire en faisant quelques suggestions dont l'amélioration de la literie qui est un peu juste (sommiers en treille métallique bruyante et en cuvette, matelas mousse premier prix). Les suppléments de ménage à la sortie et taxe de séjour étaient annoncés sur le voucher et conformes. Au total nous avons été très satisfaits, merci.

très belle villa, beaux espaces conforme a la description sauf que - la literie aurait grand besoin d'être renouvelée - la villa est un peu plus loin que prévu (et décrit) de Florence
