Description

The villa (10+3 sleeping accommodations) is situated in a peaceful and panoramic position in the heart of the Upper Valdarno, on the side of the Pratomagno, immersed in the olive groves and vineyards of the typical Tuscan countryside landscape.

The villa stands along the so-called road of the "Setteponti", an ancient road of Roman origins that stretches on the hillside along the woods of Vallombrosa and the valley of the Arno. Tourists like to go along this panoramic road both on foot and by bike, visiting the many parish churches and medieval villages in the area.

Thanks to its geographical position in the heart of Tuscany, the villa is an excellent starting point for daily trips to important cities of art, such as Florence (50 km), Siena (60 km), Arezzo (30 km) and Pisa (120 km), which are easily reached both by car and by train (the nearest railway station is just 10 kilometres from the villa).

The villa is just 2 kilometres from Loro Ciuffenna, a small village that has maintained many characteristics of the ancient medieval town, such as the parish church of San Pietro a Gropina, a Romanesque church dating back to the 8th century.


Accommodation

The villa offers 10+3 sleeping accommodations in 5 bedrooms, a double sofa bed and a supplementary single bed in one of the bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are a living room with two sofas (one is a double sofa bed) and two armchairs and a large fully equipped kitchen/dining room sitting up to 12 people. The kitchen opens onto the porch, furnished with tables and chairs for eating al fresco.
On the ground floor are also a double bedroom (the bed is 2.10 m long) and a bathroom with shower and washing machine.

On the first floor, a hallway leads to three double bedrooms, a bedroom with a bunk bed with third pull-out bed, a bathroom with shower, a bathroom with bathtub and a panoramic terrace.

Restaurants, typical shops, supermarkets, the post office, laundries and self-service laundries, cafes, banks and a chemist`s are in Loro Ciuffenna, just 2 kilometres from the villa.


Facilities

The villa is surrounded by a fully fenced garden of about 1,500 m² featuring hedges, flowers and rose bushes and furnished with garden furniture and sunlounges. In the garden are also the barbecue equipment and a swimming pool (6x12 metres, depth: 1.40 metres). At guests` disposal: three garages.

The living room is equipped with satellite TV, VCR, DVD player, Play Station 2 and ADSL Internet connection.

Toddler bed, dish washer, washing machine, hair dryer, iron and electric oven.
