Description

The villa is situated in Lucignano (Arezzo), a small town in Valdichiana, whose name derives from that of a Roman settlement founded by the Roman consul Licinio and then renamed Lucinianum when it was conquered by Lucio Silla.
A few kilometres from the villa are a riding stable, some tennis courts and a golf club, as well as Rapolano Terme and its spas. Guests will also have the opportunity to visit many Tuscan and central-Italy cities of art, including Arezzo, Siena, Perugia, Assisi, the Chianti region, the Crete Senesi region, Florence, Cortona, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Pienza.

The elegant building has spacious and airy rooms with frescoed ceilings and wide windows commanding the town of Lucignano. The rooms are furnished with ancient and precious pieces of furniture (some of which date back to the 17th century).


The Outdoors

In the wide garden that surrounds the villa lies the private swimming pool (15x8 m; depth: 1.00-3.00 m). A gazebo is furnished for having meals al fresco.
Sport and nature lovers can have pleasant walks along the paths that wind through the park.
An ancient well decorated with the coat of arm of a noble Florentine family, points to the noble origin of the villa.


Accommodation

The villa is a three-storey building that sleeps 18+4 people in 5 double bedrooms, 4 twin bedrooms, 1 double sofa bed and 2 supplementary single beds, and has 9 bathrooms.
On the ground floor are a large equipped kitchen, a dining room with access to the garden, a laundry room, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom and two bathrooms with shower.
The first floor composes of a large living room, two double bedrooms with access to a large balcony (one with ensuite bathroom with shower), two twin bedrooms, a bathroom with bathtub and shower and a bathroom with shower.
On the second floor are a suite with private living room, a suite with bathroom with whirlpool bathtub and a suite with living room, double sofa bed and bathroom.
Two supplementary single beds can be added upon request.
