Description

The villa is a 15th-century ex-monastery that stands in panoramic position atop a hill in Valdisieve, near Pontassieve, just a few kilometres from Florence historic centre. With its warm and cosy rooms, it is the ideal accommodation for relaxing holidays in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. The windows of the villa and the garden have a stunning view of the surrounding vineyards, olive grove and woods and of the valley below.

Florence is 15 kilometres from the villa and is easily reached thanks to the bus service that connects Valdisieve to the capital town of Tuscany (a bus stop is about 3 kilometres from the estate). Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano, Arezzo and other Tuscan cities of art are within easy driving distance.


The Outdoors

A wide courtyard commands the surrounding countryside.
The private swimming pool (6x12 m; depth: 0.80-1.40 m) situated about 20 metres from the building is exclusively reserved to guests.
The external porch is furnished with table and chairs for guests to have their meals al fresco.

The villa is a three-storey building that sleeps 7 people in 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedrooms and 1 single bedroom, and has 2 bathrooms and 1 half bathroom.
On the ground floor are the large kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a laundry room, a single bedroom and a half bathroom.
The first floor composes of billiard room, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and two bathrooms (one with a bathtub and a shower and one with a bathtub).
The second floor consists in a large double bedroom.

The villa is equipped with swimming pool, barbecue, working fireplaces, Internet connection, satellite TV, DVD player, billiard table, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and private car parking place.
A baby-sitter, a cook, a maid and a breakfast service are available upon request.
