Description
The villa is immersed in the typical context of the Chianti region, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and small woods, and commands the nearby lake. The completely renovated building dates back to the 19th century, when it belonged to the Bandini Counts. At that time the estate bordered on Sant`Andrea in Percussina, a small village Niccolò Machiavelli lived in.
The Outdoors
A well-kept garden furnished with tables and chairs for dining al fresco stretches around the villa.
The private swimming pool (6x12 m; depth: 1.40 m) is equipped with sun loungers, deck chairs and parasols.
The garden features also a whirlpool bath sitting seven and a children's playgroung.
Accommodation
The villa is a typical Chianti farmhouse that sleeps up to 12 guests in 2 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms and 2 double sofa beds, and has 3 bathrooms and 1 toilet.

The ground floor composes of a large kitchen/dining room, a toilet and living room with two double sofa beds.
A stone staircase leads to the first floor, composed of two double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms and two bathrooms. All of the bedrooms are air conditioned.
On the second floor, where once was the dovecot, there is a large bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub.

Marco was very accommodating. The pool and hot tub were great. All the bedrooms had there own AC. No AC downstairs but since we were gone all day it did not matter. The house is in a great location for day trips to Florence, Siena, Chianti wineries and much more.
