The small villa stands in panoramic position atop a hill and commands the surrounding corn and sunflower fields and olive groves that stretch as far as the eye can see.

The 18th-century villa owes its particular structure to the fact that in origin it was a resting place for travellers and their horses.

The country cottage has been recently renovated with an eye to preserving the original rural architectural structure, and its wide rooms are furnished with severe elegance, mixing the traditional Tuscan rustic style with the most modern comforts.

The ideal accommodation for those who want to relax in the peaceful Tuscan countryside, the villa is also an excellent departure point for one-day trips to Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena, Arezzo, the Crete Senesi region, Val d`Orcia, Lake Trasimeno and many other towns in Tuscany and central Italy.


The Outdoors

In the 5000-square-metre that surrounds the building lies the swimming pool (12x6 m; 1-2 m). The swimming pool is shared with the owners of the villa, who live nearby and will be glad to help their guests in case of need.

The barbecue equipment is in the external hall and the garden is furnished with tables for having meals al fresco.

The small villa is a one-storey building; it sleeps 6 people in 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and 1 double sofa bed, and has 2 bathrooms.
It composes of kitchen, living room with fireplace and double sofa bed, one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and one twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
The twin bedroom can be converted into a double bedroom.
