Description

The charming villa is situated in the heart of the Valdichiana, close to Cortona, an ancient small town of Etruscan origin in the province of Arezzo.

Immersed in the peaceful Tuscan countryside, that has been the source of inspiration for many artists since the time of Leonardo da Vinci, the villa is furnished with good taste paying particular attention to details. Many rooms are decorated with elegant and refined antiques.

In the lawn, about 50 metres from the house, lies the private swimming pool. The paved terrace is furnished with table and chairs for guests to have their meals al fresco while admiring the surrounding countryside.

Cooking lessons are arranged upon request.


The Outdoors

In the garden that surrounds the building lies the private swimming pool (4 x 8 m), which commands the valley below and is open from mid-May to the end of September.


Accommodation

The villa offers 6 sleeping accommodations in 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of fully equipped kitchen, large living/dining room with fireplace, storeroom and a bathroom with shower.

On the first floor are two double-bedded rooms, one twin-bedded room, a wardrobe room and a bathroom with shower.

The villa is provided with swimming pool, fireplace, heating system, air conditioning (only in the twin-bedded room), satellite TV, Internet connection, barbecue equipment, CD player, DVD player, oven, microwave oven, washing machine, dishwasher, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, car park.

A cot bed and a high chair are available for guests with small children. Possibility of arranging a baby sitting service.

Restaurants, supermarkets, grocers`, banks, the post office, chemists` and any kind of shops and services are in Foiano della Chiana (7 km). In Foiano della Chiana there is also a large outlet village selling branded products at profitable prices.

Tennis courts in Creti (0.5 km), golf club and riding stables in Bettolle (7 km).

The nearest railway station is in Camucia (12 km).

Florence Amerigo Vespucci airport is 120 kilometres from the villa, whereas Pisa Galileo Galilei airport is 210 kilometres away.

The villa is near Cortona. Arezzo, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Siena and other Tuscan cities of art are within easy car distance.
