Description

The villa (10 sleeping accommodations) stands on the hills of Valdichiana, between Cortona and Montepulciano, in an area rich in history and culture. Just a few kilometres from the property lie many small towns, such as Pienza and Montalcino, renowned for their culinary specialities, but also Rapolano Terme and Chianciano Terme, with their thermal establishments, Anghiari and San Gimignano; important cities of art, such as Siena, Arezzo and Florence, are within easy car reach.

Around the villa stretch many pathways for long hikes, horse- and mountain bike-rides. A tennis club and a golf club are in the neighbourhood of the villa. Guests can also admire the whole Valdichiana from on high with a hot air balloon.

The building has been renovated with particular attention to details: typical rustic Tuscan style elements, such as terracotta-tiled floors, cotto-tiled and wood-beamed ceilings and black wood and wrought-iron furniture blend harmoniously with modern fittings.

In the garden surrounding the villa there are the swimming pool furnished with sunloungers and sunshades, a smaller pool with hydromassage, a gym and a dressing room with shower. Under a small porch there are the barbecue equipment, a wood-burning oven and tables and chairs for eating al fresco. The garden offers a magnificent view of the whole Valdichiana and Montepulciano.

The structure (5 double bedrooms and 4 bathrooms) consists in a villa and an annexe.

The villa (3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms) spreads out over two storeys. The ground floor composes of hallway, fully equipped kitchen, living room with satellite TV and fireplace, garden room with table sitting 10 people and French doors opening onto the garden and 1 bathroom with shower. The first floor consists in 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin-bedded room, 1 bathroom with shower and 1 bathroom with shower and bathtub.
The annexe (2 double bedrooms and 1 bathroom) composes of kitchen, living room with satellite TV, dining room, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin-bedded room and 1 bathroom with shower.

The villa is provided with swimming pool, smaller pool with hydromassage, satellite TV, table-tennis table, Internet connection, ceiling fans in the bedrooms, heating system, barbecue, wood-burning oven, bicycles, oven, microwave oven, toaster, American-style coffee maker, washing machine, dishwasher, iron and ironing board.
