Description

The villa is situated in Tuscan Maremma, on the side of Mount Argentario, in the province of Grosseto. In front of the estate is Orbetello Lagoon, which stretches between two long strips of sand that connect Mount Argentario to the mainland.

About 500 metres from the villa is Feniglia, a wonderful six-kilometre long beach where the famous Italian painter Michelangelo Merisi, also known as Caravaggio, was found dead in July 1610. The villa is easily reached on foot and by bike, as well as by car. In summer a shuttle service connects the villa to the sea and the shuttle stops is 100 metres from the estate. Cala Galera, Orbetello and Porto Ercole, with its imposing Spanish fortress, are about three kilometres from the property.

Near the villa are also a golf club, a riding stable and several thermal baths.


The Outdoors

The three buildings that compose the complex are surrounded by a large garden dotted with Mediterranean plants and furnished with a table for having meals al fresco.

In the garden are some silver mines dug in the late 19th century. A sauna has been set in one of the mines, whereas another one has been transformed into a wine cellar.

The barbecue equipment, a small whirlpool pool and a private tennis court are at guests' disposal.

The complex consists of three buildings that in total sleep 4+7 guests in 2 double bedrooms, 3 double sofa beds and 1 single sofa bed; the complex features 3 bathrooms.

The villa composes of kitchen, a double bedroom, a living room with a double sofa bed and a bathroom.
The annexed cottage consists of a double bedroom, a living room with a double sofa bed and a bathroom.
The third building is a wooden cottage with a kitchenette outdoor; the interior is divided into a living room with a double and a single sofa bed and a bathroom.

The villa is equipped with sauna, small whirlpool pool, tennis court, barbecue, bicycles, air conditioning, working fireplace, satellite TV, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, cot beds and private car parking place.
A maid service is available upon request.
