Description

The elegant vacation villa is situated in Monticchiello, a small village near Pienza (Siena). The villa stands on the wonderful hills of Val d`Orcia, in the heart of the homonymous natural park, which UNESCO has declared a World Heritage site.

The villa is an excellent accommodation for those who want to spend their holidays in close contact with pure nature, surrounded by cypress trees and olive groves.
Important Tuscan cities of art, including Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano, Colle Val d`Elsa, Siena and Florence are within easy car reach for pleasant one-day trips. The spas of Bagno Vignoni and Chianciano Terme are just a few kilometres from the villa.

The 17th-century villa has been recently renovated and furnished with period items.


The Outdoors

The private swimming pool (5x14 m; depth: 1.40-2.40 m) lies 20 metres from the villa, in the wide 10,000-square-metre garden and commands the magnificent surrounding landscape.
Next to the villa is a porch furnished with table and chairs for guests to have their meals al fresco.


Accommodation

The villa is divided into two independent apartments; it sleeps 8+2 guests in 1 double bedroom, 3 twin bedrooms and 2 supplementary single beds, and has 4 bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms. Both apartments have two floors.

On the ground floor of each apartment there are the kitchen, the living room with dining area and a fireplace, and a half bathroom.
The night zone is on the first floor and composes of two bedrooms, either with a double or two single beds, with ensuite bathroom.

Two supplementary single beds can be added in any room.
