Description

The villa stands in panoramic position on a hill in Valdichiana, in Terontola, a small village in proximity to the Etruscan town of Cortona (Arezzo). Next to the estate, which is immersed in an oak wood, is an ancient Romanesque church. The villa has a stunning view over the valley below.

The recently-renovated and fully-fenced villa is the ideal accommodation for having relaxing holidays in the Tuscan countryside. The estate is situated in strategic position at the border between Tuscany and Umbria and is an excellent departure point for visiting many cities of art and culture in central Italy, such as Cortona, Arezzo, Perugia, Siena, Assisi, Montepulciano, Pienza, Chiusi, Orvieto, Lake Trasimeno and Florence.


The Outdoors

A terraced garden dotted with century-old olive trees surrounds the building. Around the garden stretches an oak wood of about 3 hectares, rich in pathways for walking in the Tuscan countryside. In the oak wood lies also a pond.

In the garden on both sides of the house are a wood-burning oven, a gazebo, a sink, a table with some chairs, barbecue equipment, some deck chairs and a swing.

About 50 metres from the building lies the private swimming pool (4x9 m; depth: 1.50 m), which is surrounded by a wide solarium area and open from June to September.

Next to the swimming pool is a small gym area equipped with trampoline, fitness bike, fitness step platform and dumbbells.

A table-tennis table is on a panoramic terrace.


Accommodation

The two-storey building has a liveable surface of 300 square metres and sleeps 10+2 people in 4 double-bedded rooms, 2 single rooms and 2 supplementary single beds, and has 4 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are two kitchens, two large living rooms with fireplace, two laundry rooms and two bathrooms with shower.

The first floor composes of four double-bedded rooms, two single rooms and two bathrooms with bathtub.

Two supplementary single beds can be added in two of the four double-bedded rooms.

The villa is divided into two independent and specular apartments. Each apartment covers an area of 150 square metres.

An Internet dongle, a baby sitter, a cook for dinners and cooking lessons and a maid service are available upon request (additional charges apply).

Some bicycles are at guests` disposal.
