The holiday villa for rent in Tuscany is perched on the hillside of Mount Cetona, near San Casciano dei Bagni and a few dozen kilometres from Chianciano Terme and Mount Amiata.

The villa is the result of the restoration of a medieval watch-tower overlooking the valley below. The garden and the windows of the villa afford wonderful views of Mount Cetona and the nearby 11th-century castle of Fighine.

The property includes a main villa and an outhouse that are rented to a single group of guests. The two buildings have been restored with an eye to respecting the local architectural traditions and are furnished in a cosy style.

San Casciano dei Bagni thermal baths are 10-15 kilometres from the property and are easily reached by car, as well as important Tuscan places of tourist interest such as Montalcino, Pienza, Radicofani, San Quirico d'Orcia, Siena and the charming Crete Senesi region.


The Outdoors

The private swimming pool (11x4 m; depth: 1.40 m) in the garden that surrounds the two buildings overlooks the valley below. An outdoor shower with cold and warm water is by the poolside.

A wide patio is equipped for dining al fresco.

The property comprises a main villa and an outhouse; in total it sleeps 11 guests in 5 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with a French-size bed, and has 6 bathrooms.

The main villa is a two-storey building that sleeps 7 guests in 3 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with a French-size bed, and has 4 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are the kitchen with fireplace, dining area and access to the patio equipped for dining al fresco, a large living room with fireplace, a room with the washing machine and a bathroom with shower.
The first floor composes of a living room, three double bedrooms (two with a private bathroom), a bedroom with a French-size bed and a bathroom with shower.

The outhouse sleeps 4 guests and consists of a kitchenette, a double bedroom with private bathroom with shower and a large suite with a double bed and a private bathroom with shower. The veranda is equipped with table and chairs and affords charming views over the castle of Fighine.

The two bedrooms in the outhouse have a direct access to the garden.
