Description

The beautiful villa is located near Castellina in Chianti, a small town in the province of Siena, in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. The celebrated Chianti Gallo Nero wine is produced on the hills that surround the villa.

Thanks to its geographical position, the villa is an excellent departure point for pleasant one-day trips to Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra and the whole Chianti Classico region.

The house results from the renovation of the outbuilding of an ancient manor house. The welcoming rooms with terracotta-tiled floors and beamed ceilings are furnished in Tuscan style.

The property comprises also vineyards and olive groves producing excellent wines and olive oil.


The Outdoors

A wide private garden furnished with table and chairs for dining in the open air surrounds the villa.

The large park around the building features also a swimming pool (6x12 m; depth: 2 m) that sometimes is shared with the owners of the complex, who occasionally live in the manor house.


Accommodation

The villa is a two-storey building with an independent entrance; it sleeps 6 guests in 2 double bedrooms and 1 double sofa bed and has 3 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are a large room with a fireplace and a table and a bathroom with shower, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The first floor composes of dining room with kitchen corner, large living room with a double sofa bed, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower.

The access to the first floor is only from the garden.

The villa is equipped with swimming pool, barbecue, fireplace, air conditioning, satellite TV, video recorder, Internet connection, oven, microwave oven, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, cot bed and private car parking place.
A domestic help is available upon request.
A guided tour of the farm with visit to the cellars and wine tasting events is organised upon request, as well as dinners with Tuscan dishes.
