Description

The villa is a charming edifice just 4 kilometres from the picturesque medieval town of Bolsena, that lays on the hilly offshoots of the Volsini mountains. Bolsena origins date back to the 3rd century BC, when it was founded by the inhabitants of Velzna, who were escaping from the destruction of their town. From Velzna, one of the most important Etruscan towns, Bolsena inherited its name. The villa is about 26 kilometres from the charming town of Pitigliano and 30 kilometres from the thermal town of San Casciano dei Bagni. The property is immersed in unspoilt nature, near Turona Park. Here visitors can spend a day in close contact with nature in an enthralling place featuring several cascades along the routes.

It is a perfect place for those who are dreaming of relaxing holidays far from noise during which to dedicate to trekking or birdwatching, or to dip in the thermal waters of the thermal baths in San Casciano, those in San Filippo on Mount Amiata and Saturnia.

The villa features a well-trimmed garden that gives a wonderful view of the lake and a round swimming pool surrounded by deck chairs and trees, among which a century-old pine. Barbecue equipment and garden furniture are at guests` disposal. Bolsena is renowned for its lake, where many sports are to be practised, from sailing and motor boating to water ski and windsurf. Fishing is allowed within the limits established by law. Animals are allowed in the villa but the property is not fenced.


Accommodation

The villa (10 sleeping accommodations in 2 double bedrooms, 2 triple bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) is divided into two independent apartments.
Apartment 1 covers a surface of 120 m² and is on the first floor. Its independent entrance is reached through a stair. Its balcony is 16 metres in length and 1.80 metres in width and is furnished for eating al fresco. The apartment consists in a lounge with a large glass window and panoramic view, a living/dining room with fireplace and a beautiful equipped independent kitchen. The double-bedded room and the triple bedroom are finely furnished and the bathroom has a bathtub.
Apartment 2 covers a surface of 110 m² and is on the ground floor. It is entered through the porch on the front. The apartment is equipped for eating al fresco and consists in a living room, an independent kitchen with dishwasher, a double-bedded room and a double-bedded room with a single bed. The bathroom measures 16 m² and has a shower.
