Description

Situated on the hills surrounding San Miniato, the villa (8+2 sleeping accommodations) owes its name to the ancient Romanesque church standing at its feet. In the past the structure, mentioned in a document dating back to 1585, belonged to the branch of the Bonaparte family living in San Miniato.

The swimming pool, equipped with sunshades and sunloungers for basking in the sun in the quiet Tuscan countryside, lies in the wide garden surrounding the building.

Provided with all comforts (TV, washing machine, dishwasher and Internet access), the villa overlooks the surrounding vineyards and olive groves.

The villa is about 1 kilometre from Corazzano, where guests can visit interesting museums dedicated to sacred and non-sacred art, and about 7 kilometres from San Miniato. In November San Miniato hosts a white truffle trade fair.

About 5 kilometres from the villa are a golf club and a tennis court.

Many important cities of art, such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano, as well as Versilia and the Costa degli Etruschi (Etruscan Coast) are within easy car reach.


Accommodation

The villa (4 double bedrooms + 2 single sofa beds and 3 bathrooms) spreads out over two floors.
The ground floor composes of laundry room, kitchen with fireplace, electric oven, microwave oven, fridge and dishwasher, dining room, large living room, reading room with two single sofa beds and 1 bathroom with shower.
The first floor composes of 3 double bedrooms (two of which can be transformed into twin-bedded bedrooms), 1 twin-bedded bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower box and 1 bathroom with bathtub-shower.

The villa is provided with private swimming pool, wireless Internet connection, dishwasher, washing machine, American-style coffee maker, hair-dryer, DVD player.
Guided horseback rides, visits to a chocolate maker and a dairy with tasting experience, white-truffle hunting experiences are organised upon request.

Minimarket, bank with ATM and chemist`s are in Corazzano (1 kilometre from the villa). Other shops and services, a tennis court and a golf club are in San Miniato (7 kilometres from the villa) and in Montaione (3 kilometres).
