Description
The small villa furnished in modern style is immersed in the olive groves that stretch south of Pistoia, in north-central Tuscany. The loggia and the terrace overlook the surrounding countryside.
Thanks to its strategic position halfway from Florence and Lucca, the villa is an excellent departure point for visiting the main Tuscan tourist destinations: apart from the already mentioned Florence and Lucca, Pisa; Vinci, Certaldo and Montelupo Fiorentino in Empoli countryside; San Gimignano and Volterra. In proximity to the villa are also a tennis club, a golf club, a riding stable and the thermal baths of Montecatini Terme and Monsummano Terme.
The Outdoors
The private swimming pool (5x8.50 m; depth: 1.50 m) lies in the garden, just a few metres from the house. Some water toys are at guests' disposal.
The garden is furnished with table and chairs for having meals al fresco, deck chairs and a sunshade.
In the garden is also the barbecue equipment.

The small villa is a two-storey building that sleeps 9+2 guests in 3 double bedrooms, 1 triple bedroom and 1 double sofa bed and has 2 bathrooms.
On the lower floor are the kitchen, the living room with fireplace and a double sofa bed, two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.
The upper floor consists of a bedroom with a double and a single bed, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
Both floors have a direct access to an external area furnished with table and chairs.

Our family have just returned from a wonderful holiday - made so to a large extent by the fantastic accommodation at Villa Claudio. The house is in a beautiful location - not overlooked by any neighbours and with views of rolling hills and Tuscan villages. The air conditioning was a welcome retreat from the heat. The house is well-designed, spacious and has all the appliances one could possibly need. The kitchen is particularly well-equipped. The house is split into two levels with the downstairs apartment fully equipped with kitchen and bathroom - allowing separate access which was much appreciated by our two adult sons and their girlfriends. Without doubt the highlight of the house is the swimming pool and garden. The size of the pool is generous enough for 10 lively people to occupy it at once and play an energetic game of volley-ball! There was a box full of garden and pool toys, plenty of sun-loungers and umbrellas. We availed ourselves of the BBQ a few times. Outside there is also a huge dining table which 10 people easily sat at - with wonderful views of the surrounds. I could go on and on with praise for this fantastic house and the friendly, helpful owners who were there to greet us and say good-bye. You'll just have to go an experience it for yourself - you won't regret it!
