The ancient 16th-century stone villa (8 sleeping accommodations) stands in panoramic position in Garfagnana, between Lucca and Versilia. It features a private swimming pool and a small garden.

The villa has been finely renovated respecting its original style and using traditional materials, such as terracotta tiles, stone and wood. It is furnished in period style and with great attention and care to details.

Standing in Massa Sassorosso (850 m above sea level), a typical village of Garfagnana on the side of the Pania di Corfino and close to the Parco Naturale dell`Orecchiella (Orecchiella Natural Park), the villa is the ideal destination for relaxing holidays and at the same time an excellent starting point for visiting cities of art such as Pisa, Lucca and Florence or for spending a day at the sea (56 kilometres away), on the fashionable Versilia riviera.

A stay in the villa offers also the possibility of doing numerous excursions along the many pathways stretching in the neighbourhood. The most beautiful villages of Upper Garfagnana, such as San Pellegrino in Alpe, the lively Castelnuovo, the lake of Vagli, Campocatino, the Grotta del Vento (Wind Cave) and Barga with its beautiful Duomo, are within easy reach.

The villa features a private swimming pool (7.5x5.5 m), and a large furnished balcony covered with an arched loggia is waiting for guests to have their meals al fresco and enjoy the wonderful panorama in the greatest privacy!

First floor: living room with fireplace, large kitchen with fireplace, 1 toilette, large (20 m²) balcony furnished for eating al fresco and covered with an arched loggia overlooking the Apuan Alps. Large terracotta staircase.
Second floor: 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 bedroom with three single beds, 1 bathroom with shower, large panoramic covered balcony (loggia with columns).
