Description
The villa stands on the side of one of the hills that surround Cortona, an ancient small town of Etruscan origin in the province of Arezzo, in Valdichiana. In proximity to the estate is also the Abbey of Sant`Angelo, a Romanesque church that dates back to the 12th century.
Built in the 1950s, the villa is surrounded by the olive groves of the Val d`Esse and is an excellent accommodation for those who want to relax in the peaceful Tuscan countryside.
The Outdoors
A completely fenced private park surrounds the building. Here are the private swimming pool, a wood-burning oven and the barbecue equipment.
The swimming pool (8x3 m) lies about 10 metres from the building, is fully fenced and is open from May to September.
A slide and a swing are at children`s disposal.

The villa is a three-storey building and offers 8 sleeping accommodations in 3 double-bedded rooms and 2 single rooms, and 3 bathrooms.
The ground floor composes of large entrance hall, kitchen, living room with fireplace, a lounge with TV set and DVD player, dining room, one double-bedded room with ensuite bathroom with whirlpool bathtub, and a single bedroom.
On the first floor are a small anteroom hall with balcony, one double-bedded room, and a toilette.
The second floor is divided into a small anteroom hall with balcony, a double-bedded room with balcony, a single bedroom, and a bathroom.

Accueil très agréable, les propriétaires sont charmants et disponibles. Seul bémol, le prix est trop élevé compte tenu des prestations et de la situation.

Closer to the main road than expected and many dogs in the neighborhood. Swimming pool was a bit smaller than foto's indicated. Overall still a verry pleasant house and we had a perfect 1 week stay.

Pool was great, and the grocerie shop just down the street had everything. The house itself was clean and big. Unfortunately the bedroom on top was so hot, that we couldn't use it. The aircondition wasn't strong enough to cool it down.
