Description

The villa stands in panoramic position on the hills of Valdichiana, between Monte San Savino and Arezzo. The garden, the balcony on the first floor and the turret overlook the surrounding countryside and the towns of Cortona and Castiglion Fiorentino.

A few kilometres from the villa is the wonderful castle of Gargonza, a fortified agricultural village of medieval origin standing atop a hill in the Valdichiana. At present, the tower, the walls, one gate and the Romanesque church of the 13th-century original nucleus are still to be admired. In the early 14th century, Dante Alighieri stayed some time at the castle strategically situated between Valdichiana and the territories governed by Siena.

A tennis club and a riding stable are a few kilometres from the property. The villa is also an excellent departure point for visiting Arezzo, Cortona, Anghiari, Siena, the Chianti region and Florence, which are easily reached by car.


The Outdoors

The villa is surrounded by a wide garden in which are the private swimming pool (10x5 m; depth: 1.50 m) equipped with parasols and sun loungers and a masonry barbecue.

A gazebo is furnished with table and chairs for having meals al fresco.

The villa is a three-storey building that sleeps 10 guests in 5 double bedrooms and has 4 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are the kitchen, the dining room, a living room and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
The first floor composes of three double bedrooms (one with ensuite bathroom) and a further bathroom.
The turret consists of a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
