Description

The villa - an ancient and cosy peasant house that has been finely furnished - is located in Caprese Michelangelo, Michelangelo Buonarroti`s home town , at the border with the Casentino National Park , in the province of Arezzo. The building stands 850 metres above sea level and enjoys a wonderful view over the surrounding countryside. Particularly suited for those who dream of holiday in Tuscany at the discovery of the jewels of the Italian art, the villa is just a few kilometres from the medieval towns of Anghiari and Sansepolcro, from Pieve Santo Stefano and Arezzo, as well as from the Sanctuary of La Verna , where Saint Francis of Assisi received his stigmata. A riding stable, a tennis club and a golf club are within easy reach from the villa.


The Outdoors

The building is surrounded by a two-level fenced garden equipped with outdoor furniture and wood-burning oven/barbecue. The garden gives access to a small deconsecrated church situated in the estate. Two porches are furnished for having meals al fresco.

The private swimming pool (5x10 m; depth: 1.10-2.30 m) is warmed by solar panels and overlooks the surrounding countryside. The pool side, paved with Tuscan terracotta tiles, is furnished with deck chairs, sun loungers and sunshades.

The three-storey building sleeps 14 people in 4 double bedrooms and 3 twin bedrooms, and has 4 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are the kitchen, a large living room with dining area and fireplace, two double bedrooms (one with an ensuite bathroom with shower), a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower.

On the second floor are a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower.

Access to the Villa
