Description

The holiday villa is an ex-medieval sighting tower situated in Montecchio, a small village in Valdichiana, near Cortona, in the province of Arezzo.

The recently renovated stone-and-brick tower stands in panoramic position on the green and gentle Tuscan hills and enjoys a magnificent view over Cortona and Valdichiana.

Cortona, Arezzo, Chiusi della Verna, Siena, Lake Trasimeno, Sansepolcro and many other Tuscan cities of art are easily reached by car for pleasant one-day trips.


The Outdoors

The rental villa is surrounded by a 8000-square-metre park in which lies the private swimming pool (5x10 m; depth: 1.50 m), open all the year round.

In the garden is also the barbecue equipment.

The pergola in front of the swimming pool is furnished for having meals al fresco.

The garden is furnished with sun loungers, tables and a sunshade.


Accommodation

The villa is a three-storey building; it sleeps 9 people in 2 double-bedded rooms, 1 twin-bedded room and 1 triple room, and has 3 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are the kitchen, a living room with fireplace and wood burning oven, one twin-bedded room and a bathroom with shower and washing machine.

The first floor composes of two large double-bedded rooms (one with ensuite bathroom with shower), the Finnish sauna and a bathroom with shower.

The second floor consists in a triple bedroom with marble basin and access to the panoramic balcony.
