Description

The holiday farmhouse is located in Valdichiana, in eastern Tuscany, near Cortona (Arezzo).

The windows of the stone house and the swimming pool afford gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside and the town of Cortona.

The farmhouse has been recently restored paying particular attention to such traditional elements of the Tuscan country houses as terracotta-tiled floor and beamed ceilings. The large and comfortable rooms are furnished with good taste in the traditional Tuscan rustic style.

Being situated almost at the border between Tuscany and Umbria, the holiday farmhouse is an excellent lodging for those who wish to visit Arezzo, Cortona, Assisi, Perugia, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Siena, Sansepolcro, Anghiari and many other Tuscan and central-Italy cities of art. Lake Trasimeno is just a few dozen kilometres from the property and is easily reached by car.


The Outdoors

A wide garden featuring a barbecue area surrounds the house.

The private swimming pool (5x10 m; maximum depth: 2.20 m) lies on an upper terrace than the house and affords charming vistas of the surrounding hills. Immersed in a beautiful olive grove, the swimming pool is equipped with beach umbrellas and sun loungers.

A nice veranda overlooking the valley below is equipped with table and chairs for dining al fresco.


Accommodation

The farmhouse is a three-storey building that sleeps 7 guests in 1 double bedroom, 1 triple bedroom and 1 twin bedroom, and has 2 bathrooms.
The main entrance is on the first floor, which composes of kitchen with dining area, living room with fireplace, a twin bedroom with direct access to the garden and a bathroom with bathtub.
On the ground floor are a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
The second floor consists of a loft with a double and a single bed.

The farmhouse is equipped with swimming pool, barbecue, fireplace, Internet connection, satellite TV, stereo system, oven, freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, cot bed, hook chair and private car parking area.
A domestic help and a cook are available upon request.
Cooking lessons and wine tastings are organised upon request.
