Description

The elegant detached house (7 sleeping accommodations) is in southern Tuscany, just a few kilometres from Porto Ercole, in the province of Grosseto. The building is immersed in the green Mediterranean macchia and offers a magnificent view of the Tyrrhenian Sea and of Monte Argentario. Built in the 19th century, the house has been recently renovated and furnished with period furniture. The barbecue equipment in the garden that surrounds the building is at guests` disposal. The wonderful terrace with pergola is furnished for eating al fresco.

The 3 hectares of woods and Mediterranean macchia are the perfect setting for regenerating walks in close contact with nature. Sea lovers can hire a boat in Porto Ercole and visit the beaches and the typical coves of the Argentario. Possibility of organizing horseback excursions or of hiring some bikes at the beach of the Feniglia. Tennis clubs in Porto Ercole and Orbetello. Golf club in the neighbourhood of the house. Antiques lovers can visit the street market that takes place in Orbetello on the 15th of August and each month on the first weekend.

The house is also an excellent starting point for trips to Siena, Tarquinia, Tuscania, Pitigliano and other interesting Tuscan cities of art. Those who want to dedicate to their well-being can visit the thermal establishments in Saturnia. Upon arrival, guests` will be given a list of useful addresses including the places to visit and the best restaurants in the area.

The structure (3 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom and 3 bathrooms) consists in the main house and a cottage.

The main house composes of kitchen, living room with TV set and fireplace, dining room, 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom and 2 bathrooms.
In the cottage are 1 double bedroom and 1 bathroom.

The house is provided with car park, working fireplace, satellite TV, DVD player, washing machine, iron, gas oven, fridge, freezer, toaster, telephone, hair dryer and cot bed. Animals are welcome.

From Porto Ercole, the holiday house is reached through a winding tarmac road in the woods.
