Description

The country house is located in Riparbella, a village in the province of Pisa situated along the Etruscan Coast, just 9 kilometres from the beaches of Cecina. The wide private garden offers a magnificent view over the valley of the river Cecina, the Etruscan coast and the Tuscan archipelago. In clear days the Island of Elba and Corsica are to be seen in the distance.

From the nearby port of Piombino the Island of Elba is reached within an hour. Pisa, Livorno, Lucca, Volterra and San Gimignano are within easy car reach.

The accommodation facility composes of an independent cottage (6 sleeping accommodations) and a semidetached apartment (2+2 sleeping accommodations) with independent entry and a portion of private garden. The apartment is about 80 metres from the cottage.

Guests are granted the utmost privacy.

The owners live nearby and will be glad to assist guests at any time during their stay in case of need.

Both the cottage and the apartment have been refurbished following the conceptions of bio-building and feature beamed ceilings, terracotta-tiled and parquet floors. Both of them are furnished in the traditional Tuscan rustic style.


The Outdoors

The cottage is surrounded by a fully fenced private garden of about 2,000 square metres. The patio is furnished with table and chairs for having meals al fresco. In the garden are also the barbecue equipment and some sun loungers.

The apartment features a veranda and a portion of garden reserved to the exclusive use of guests. Here are a gazebo, some sun loungers, a table, some chairs and the barbecue equipment.

Both the cottage and the apartment have a parking space in the garden.

In the garden lies also the private swimming pool (5x12 m; depth: 0.30-1.50 m) sterilized with salt, without using chemicals. The pool side is furnished with sun loungers and sunshades.


Accommodation

The accommodation facility offers 8+2 sleeping accommodations in 3 double-bedded rooms, 1 loft with super single bed, 1 double sofa bed and 2 bathrooms.

The cottage offers 6 sleeping accommodations in 2 double-bedded rooms and 1 loft with super single bed, and 1 bathroom.
The house composes of equipped kitchen, large living room with fireplace, two double-bedded rooms, loft with a super single bed (140x220 cm) and a bathroom with shower.

The apartment offers 2+2 sleeping accommodation in 1 double-bedded room and 1 double sofa bed, and 1 bathroom.
It composes of equipped kitchen, living room with double sofa bed, one double-bedded room and a bathroom with shower.


Facilities

Both the cottage and the apartment are provided with Internet connection, garden, swimming pool, parking space, satellite TV and barbecue.
The cottage comes with a hair dryer and an electric oven, whereas the apartment is equipped with a microwave oven.
A washing machine is in the laundry room. A high chair is available upon request.


Services

In Riparbella (3 km) are two minimarkets, a chemist`s, a baker`s, restaurants, pizzerias, cafés, a bank with ATM, two amusement parks and the post office.
Shopping centres, supermarkets and services of any kind are in Cecina (9 km). A weekly street market is held on Tuesday mornings in Cecina.
About 1 kilometre from the estate is a beauty centre with swimming pool that makes special prices to guests.
Some thermal baths are about 30 minutes from the estate.

Access to the Casale
