Description
The charming farmhouse is a traditional brick Tuscan house immersed in Valdichiana countryside, a few kilometres from Foiano della Chiana, in the province of Arezzo.
Surrounded by hills covered with corn and sun-flower fields, the country house is the ideal accommodation for relaxing holidays in the peaceful Tuscan countryside.
Various towns of tourist interest in Valdichiana - such as Cortona, Montepulciano and Chianciano Terme -, Valtiberina - Anghiari, Sansepolcro, Monterchi and Caprese Michelangelo - and Val d'Orcia - Pienza and Montalcino -, as well as important Tuscan cities of art such as Arezzo, Siena and Florence are easily reached by car. Lake Trasimeno, a tennis club, a riding stable and a golf club are a few kilometres from the farmhouse.
The Outdoors
The farmhouse is surrounded by a fully fenced garden in which are the private swimming pool (8x4 m; depth: 1.50 m), equipped with parasol, sun loungers and deck chairs, the barbecue equipment and a table for guests to have meals al fresco.
A loggia is furnished with a wood-burning oven.

Although small, the house is comfortable enough for 4 people, though you will have to spend most of the time outside. The pool is superb, the grounds are very relaxing and it is a very peaceful area. The only slight downside is the kitchen/diner/living room which is small and could do with a few additional items (kettle, coffee machine - though there is an espresso device). Overall, this is a good value for money property, ideal for a small family.

We had a fantastic stay, very calm and quit and close to nice villages such as Lucignano and Cortona to visit and have great restaurants. We left some cards in the Tuscany book behind the door ;-) Diego and Sarah are warm and kind people.
