Description

The farmhouse (sleeps 6) is located just a few kilometres from Sinalunga and in the neighbourhood of Montepulciano, in Sienese Valdichiana. Surrounded by the typical Tuscan countryside landscape made of vineyards, olive groves and grainfields, the building enjoys a lovely view over the nearby village of Scrofiano, whereas the medieval town of Lucignano is to be seen in the distance.

In the garden that surrounds the farmhouse, slightly set away from the building and screened by some trees, is the swimming pool, furnished with sunshades and sunloungers and provided with an outdoor shower. The loggia on the right of the entrance is furnished for eating al fresco; here is also a wood-burning oven for cooking excellent pizzas.

The 17th-century building has been fully renovated with an eye to preserving some original elements, such as the terracotta-tiled floors, the tiled and beamed ceilings and the rustic-style dark-wood furniture that is traditionally to be found in Tuscan farmhouses.

Guests are granted the exclusive use of the swimming pool and the garden. In case of need, they can contact the owner of the farmhouse, who live nearby.


Accommodation

The apartment (3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) is on the first floor of the farmhouse and composes of fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace, studio, 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 1 half bathroom and 1 bathroom with shower. On the ground floor, the farmhouse features also a laundry room, which is accessible only from outside.

The farmhouse is provided with swimming pool, barbecue equipment, pellet stove, working fireplace, washing machine, iron and ironing board, dishwasher, oven, wood-burning oven.

Supermarket, restaurants, tennis club and shops of any kind are in Sinalunga (3,5 km). Golf club and riding stable are in Bettolle, 16 kilometres from the farmhouse. Rapolano Terme and its thermal establishments is 17 kilometres away. The nearest railway station is in Sinalunga.
