Description
The farmhouse stands in panoramic position in the heart of Garfagnana, in Pieve Fosciana (Lucca), near the ancient medieval village of Sillico. The farmhouse is the ideal accommodation for those who dream of relaxing holidays in close contact with nature, at the discovery of the artistic and natural treasures of Garfagnana.
The farmhouse has a magnificent view over the Apuan Alps, the mountains of the Natural Park of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and the valley below.
Lucca, Pisa and the beaches of Versilia are within easy car reach for pleasant one-day trips.
Guests have the opportunity to taste some of the most famous dishes of the Garfagnana and Tuscan cuisine.
The completely renovated stone building is divided into two apartments.
The owners of the farmhouse live nearby and will be glad to help guests in case of need.
The Outdoors
Cultivated terraces, pastures and century-old chestnut groves surround the estate.
In the garden, about 20 metres from the house, is the private swimming pool (6x12 m; depth: 1.50 m), open from May to September. The pool side is equipped with teak sun loungers. When the swimming pool is closed, guests can use the whirlpool bath for five people.
A gas barbecue is in a shadowed area of the garden.
Both apartments have a private garden furnished with barbecue and dining table for having meals al fresco.
Accommodation
The farmhouse sleeps 8 people in 2 double-bedded rooms and 2 twin-bedded rooms, and has 2 bathrooms. It is divided into two independent apartments.
Each apartment composes of living room with fully equipped kitchenette, one double-bedded room, one twin-bedded room which can be converted into a double-bedded room and a bathroom with shower.

The farmhouse is provided with swimming pool, whirlpool bath for five people, barbecue equipment, Wi-Fi Internet connection, satellite TV, radio, CD player, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer, safe and private parking place.
Some bicycles are at guests` disposal.
A cradle is supplied upon request.
Maid and breakfast services are supplied upon request (additional charges apply).

A cafe, a food shop and a restaurant are in Sillico, 300 metres from the holiday farmhouse.
Supermarket, post office, banks, restaurants, shops and services are in Pieve Fosciana (6 km).
