Description

The farmhouse (55 square metres - 4+1 sleeping accommodations) is situated in Scarlino (Grosseto), in Maremma, just 7 kilometres from the sea. Standing on the hills, the farmhouse enjoys wonderful views over the gulf of Follonica.

A nice 900-square-metre fully fenced and illuminated garden surrounds the building.

Guests have the opportunity to do pleasant excursions to Calaviolina, one of the 11 most beautiful beaches in Italy. The marvellous shores of Punta Ala and Baratti and the island of Elba are within easy reach.

The neighbouring villages often host feasts and festivals on the occasion of which guests can taste and purchase local products.


The Outdoors

The farmhouse has an independent access through an electric gate; it also features a large porphyry yard for cars and a brick barbecue.

A charming porch is furnished with table, chairs, small chairs and wooden deck chairs.


Accommodation

The house (4+1 sleeping accommodations) composes of living room with single sofa bed, kitchenette, two double-bedded rooms and a bathroom with shower. One of the bedrooms has a French door opening onto the porch.

Ceilings are beamed and the windows have sliding mosquito screens.

A satellite dish is on the roof.

The farmhouse is provided with private car park, satellite TV, washing machine, dishwasher, hair dryer, iron, electric oven and mosquito screens.

Supermarkets, post office, banks, chemists`, restaurants and any kind of shops are in Scarlino, 5 kilometres from the farmhouse.


The Surroundings

The farmhouse is an excellent starting points for visiting Tuscan Maremma. Picturesque villages housing Etruscan and medieval findings, including Pitigliano, Sorano, San Gimignano and Massa Marittima are within easy reach.

Follonica wonderful beaches and pinewoods are just 7 kilometres from the farmhouse.
