The detached farmhouse stands in panoramic position on a hill 6 kilometres from Siena and enjoys a 360° view of Siena and the Chianti and Crete Senesi regions. The farmhouse features a private swimming pool. The old traditional farmhouse in stone and bricks has wooden ceilings and is carefully furnished with original pieces of furniture dating back to the early 20th century.


Accommodation

The farmhouse (sleeping 9) covers a surface of 240 m² and composes of a large living room with fireplace, 5 large bedrooms (one single and four double bedrooms), a walled kitchen with oven, fridge, dishwasher, espresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster, a dining room and 3 bathrooms (two with shower and one with whirlpool bathtub).


Facilities

The farmhouse is provided with panoramic swimming pool, working fireplace, laundry area with washing machine, sink, iron and ironing board, dishwasher, hair dryer, satellite TV, DVD recorder, safe, wi-fi Internet connection, central heating, mosquito screens, cot bed and whirlpool bathtub in one of the bathrooms.
At guests` disposal: car park and some bicycles.


Services

A minimarket, cafes, a typical restaurant, a pizzeria, a newsagent and the stop for the bus to Siena are 1 kilometre from the farmhouse. In Taverne d`Arbia (3 km) are a supermarket, banks, the post office and shops.

A lake for sport fishing is 500 metres from the farmhouse.


Distances

The farmhouse is not completely isolated: in the vicinity is another house.

The farmhouse is in the heart of Tuscany. The main road is just a short drive from it and all the most important Tuscan cities of art and culture within easy car reach. The farmhouse is the ideal starting point for one-day trips to Siena (10 minutes), San Gimignano (35 minutes), Florence (55 minutes), Arezzo (45 minutes) and Cortona (70 minutes) or to the Tuscan coast (70 minutes). Montalcino and Montepulciano are reached in 45 minutes. The thermal establishments and swimming pools in Rapolano Terme are a 10 minute drive from the farmhouse.


Accessibility

The farmhouse is only 900 metres from the main road and is easily reached through a white unsurfaced road. All the main Tuscan cities are easily reached through the Siena-Bettolle slip road.
