Description

The farmhouse (10+4 sleeping accommodations) is situated in Londa, at the junction of Casentino, Mugello and Valdisieve, 35 kilometres from Florence. The estate lies on the green Tuscan hills, right at the border with the Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi (National Park of Casentino Forests) and is an excellent accommodation for those who want to relax in close contact with nature, hike, mountain bike or horse-ride along the numerous pathways that surround it. The area is also scattered with archaeological sites, ancient castles and museums really worth a visit. Important sacred places, such as Camaldoli hermitage and the celebrated sanctuary in Chiusi della Verna, are within easy car distance. Fashion fans can visit the discount outlet nearby, where they can buy items of the most prestigious Italian fashion labels at very favourable prices.

The farmhouse was built on the ruins of an ancient medieval tower and is divided into three independent apartments, provided with private external areas. The apartments are furnished in the warm Tuscan rustic style and present typical elements of Tuscan country residences, such as beamed ceilings and terracotta-tiled floors. A garden surrounds the building, where lies the swimming pool, furnished with sunshades, tables and sunloungers and overlooking the valley below.

During their stay, guests can taste the extra-virgin olive oil, fruits and vegetables produced in the farm.


Accommodation

The farmhouse (5 double bedrooms, 2 double sofa beds and 4 bathrooms) is divided into three independent apartments provided with private external area. The three apartment are not rented separately.

In total, the farmhouse composes of: 2 kitchens, 3 living rooms (two of which with double sofa bed  and one with kitchenette), 5 double bedrooms and 4 bathrooms with shower (one of which is accessible also to handicapped people).
