Description

The farmhouse is a completely independent building situated in the Chianti Classico region, between Florence and Siena, in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. Surrounded by 5 hectares of olive groves and vineyards, the farmhouse has been recently renovated completely respecting the characteristics of the Chianti farmhouses, with artisanal materials. Thus the farmhouse features terracotta-tiled floors, an ancient stone fireplace and wood-beamed ceilings. The farmhouse is essentially furnished and features some antiques.


The Outodoors

A wide garden stretches around the building. The garden is furnished with sunshades, deck chairs, sun loungers, the barbecue equipment and a gazebo with a table sitting up to eight people.

In the garden is the private swimming pool (4x9 m; depth 1.35 m).


Accommodation

With a livable surface of 240 square metres, the three-storey building sleeps 8+3 people in 3 double-bedded rooms, 1 twin-bedded room, 1 double sofa bed and 1 supplementary single bed, and has 4 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of kitchen, large living room, library and relax room with fireplace and a double sofa bed.

On the first floor are a storeroom and two double-bedded rooms both with an ensuite bathroom.

The second floor is divided into a double-bedded room, a twin-bedded room, a bathroom with bathtub and a bathroom with shower.

A supplementary single bed can be added in any of the bedrooms upon request.

Supermarket, banks, chemists`, typical restaurants, pizzerias, shops and services are in Tavarnelle in Val di Pesa, about 5 kilometres from the farmhouse.
Some tennis courts and riding stables are in proximity to the estate.

Access to the Farmhouse

The farmhouse is reached through a 600-metre dirt road. The first 200 metres are rather steep, and then the road levels out. The road is nevertheless comfortably drivable.
