Description

The farmhouse stands in panoramic position atop a hill in the Crete Senesi, near Rapolano Terme, in the province of Siena, and is surrounded by 20 hectares of olive groves and woodland.

Built in the traditional rural Tuscan style, the stone farmhouse features exposed wood beamed ceilings and is furnished with ancient furniture.

The villa is an excellent accommodation both for those who want to relax in the peaceful Tuscan countryside and also for those who would like to visit some of the most famous cities of art of the region: Siena, Florence, Arezzo, Cortona, Montepulciano, Monteriggioni, Val d`Orcia and the Chianti district are easily reached by car for pleasant one-day trips. Some tennis courts, a riding stable and the thermal establishments of Rapolano Terme are just a few kilometres from the farmhouse.


The Outdoors

A wide garden stretches around the building. A stone path leads to the private swimming pool (12x6 m; depth: 1.20-1.80 m), which is equipped with sun loungers and sunshades and exclusively reserved to guests.

The stone courtyard is furnished for having meals in the open air. In the courtyard is also the barbecue equipment.


Accommodation

The farmhouse is a two-storey building that sleeps 9+2 guests in 3 double bedrooms, 1 triple bedroom and 2 supplementary single beds; it has 4 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are a wide entry hall, a living room with fireplace, a dining room with French doors opening onto the courtyard, the kitchen, the laundry room and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
The first floor composes of a living room with fireplace, two double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom and a triple bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
The triple bedroom can be transformed into a quadruple bedroom by adding a supplementary single bed. A second supplementary single bed can be added in one of the double bedrooms.

The farmhouse is equipped with swimming pool, barbecue, working fireplaces, Internet connection, satellite TV, CD player, DVD player, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, cot beds and private car parking place.
A cook and a maid service are available upon request.

A restaurant, a cafe and a mini market are in Palazzuolo, 2.5 kilometres from the farmhouse. Other shops and services are in Monte San Savino (10 km).
Some tennis courts, a riding stable and two thermal establishments are in Rapolano Terme, 15 kilometres from the estate.

Access to the Farmhouse

The road to the farmhouse (1.5 km) is unpaved but comfortably drivable with any vehicle.
