Description

The farmhouse is an imposing stone building dating from the 19th century situated a few kilometres from Cortona, a charming town of Etruscan origin in Valdichiana.

The farmhouse is set in scenic location in a very peaceful part of the Tuscan countryside and is an excellent solution for having relaxing holidays and for visiting some of the most renowned cities of art in Tuscany and central Italy, such as Cortona, Arezzo, Pienza, Perugia, Montepulciano and Siena. Lake Trasimeno is just a few kilometres from the property and is easily reached by car.


The Outdoors

The wide well-kept garden that surrounds the farmhouse is fully fenced.

A second fence surrounds the private swimming pool (10x5 m; depth: 1.20-2.50 m) as well. The large solarium area is equipped with a gazebo furnished with table and chairs, and by the poolside stands an external shower.

The covered veranda in front of the kitchen is furnished with table and chairs for having meals al fresco; a masonry barbecue is next to the house.

A laundry area with the washing machine is at guests' disposal.


Accommodation

The farmhouse is a two-storey building that sleeps 8 guests in 3 double bedrooms and 1 double sofa bed, and has 3 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are the well-equipped kitchen, a living room with fireplace, a living room with a wood-burning stove, the dining area and a double sofa bed, and a bathroom with shower.
The first floor composes of a double bedroom with a private bathroom with whirlpool shower, two more double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.

The kitchen has a direct access to the covered veranda.
The first floor is accessed also from the outside.
Two of the bedrooms are air conditioned.

The farmhouse is equipped with swimming pool with a wide solarium area, external shower, masonry barbecue, fireplace, air conditioning, satellite TV, oven, microwave oven, freezer, wood-burning stove, wine cooler, dishwasher, washing machine, whirlpool shower, cot bed and private car parking space.
A domestic help is available upon request.
