Description

The farmhouse stands in panoramic position on a hill near Cortona, an ancient town of Etruscan origin in the province of Arezzo, in Valdichiana. Completely renovated and divided into two independent apartments, the small stone cottage commands the landscape below and overlooks Lake Trasimeno, Mount Cetona and Mount Amiata.


The Outdoors

The two apartments share the external area that surrounds the building. Here lies the swimming pool with hydromassage (8x4 m; depth: 1.10-1.40 m), open from May to September.

Moreover, each apartment has a private outdoor area furnished for having meals al fresco.

The two-storey building is divided into two independent apartments; in total, it sleeps 8+2 people in 2 double-bedded rooms, 2 twin-bedded rooms and 1 double sofa bed, and has 2 bathrooms.

The apartment on the ground floor composes of a large kitchen; living room with fireplace; one double-bedded room; one room with two single beds that can be united to form a double bed; one bathroom with shower.

The apartment is accessed through an external stair and a small loggia.
The balcony is furnished for having meals al fresco and overlooks Lake Trasimeno, Mount Cetona and Monte Amiata.

The farmhouse is provided with swimming pool with hydromassage, barbecue, air conditioning and private car parking place.

Each apartment comes with independent heating system, fireplace, satellite TV, electric oven, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board.

A cook, a baby sitter and a maid service are supplied upon request.

Thanks to the nearby secondary road (250 metres from the estate) many Tuscan historical towns, including Cortona, Arezzo, Pienza and Anghiari, are easily reached with a short drive.
