Description

The farmhouse stands atop a hill in Upper Valdarno, near Montevarchi (Arezzo), in the heart of Tuscany and at a stone's throw from the Chianti region. The windows and the garden offer gorgeous views of the valley of the River Arno and Pratomagno, the ridge that separates Valdarno from Casentino.

Thanks to its geographical location, the farmhouse is an excellent departure point for one-day jaunts to Arezzo, Siena, Florence, Colle Val d'Elsa and the whole Chianti area.

The recently renovated and comfortably and functionally furnished farmhouse features some typical elements of the ancient country houses, including brick arches, terracotta-tiled floors and beamed brick ceilings.


The Outdoors

A wide and fully fenced garden surrounds the farmhouse. An automatic gate grants access to the property.

The private swimming pool is exclusively reserved to guests. A bathroom with shower is under the pool.

A part of the garden is furnished with table, chairs, deck chairs and sunshades for guests to have their meals and relax in the open air.

In the garden are also a tennis/basketball/volleyball court and the barbecue equipment.


Accommodation

The farmhouse is a two-storey building that sleeps 12 guests in 2 triple bedrooms, 1 double bedroom and 2 bedrooms with two single beds and has 4 bathrooms.

On the ground floor are the large fully equipped kitchen with direct access to the outside, the dining room, a home office, a large living room with fireplace and direct access to the garden, a storeroom and a bathroom with shower.

Inner stairs lead to the first floor, which composes of two rooms with a double and a single bed (one with an ensuite bathroom with shower), a double bedroom with access to a room with a bunk bed and from there to a bathroom with shower, a twin bedroom that can be converted into a double bedroom and a bathroom with whirlpool bathtub.

The ground floor is accessed from both the garden and the parking area through inner stairs.

The villa is equipped with swimming pool, outdoor bathroom with shower, tennis/volleyball/basketball court, air conditioning, fireplace, Internet connection, VCR/DVD player, radio/CD player, oven, microwave oven, freezer, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, whirlpool bathtub, cot beds, high chairs and private car parking area.
A domestic help and a cook are available upon request.
Wine tasting events and cooking lessons are arranged upon request.
