Description

The farmhouse, a building dating back to the 17th century, is located in the Chianti district, halfway from Florence and Siena. Thanks to its favourable geographical position, the farmhouse is an excellent departure point for visiting the whole Chianti region, Florence, Siena, Colle Val d`Elsa, San Gimignano and many other Tuscan tourist destinations.

The stone building has been renovated and divided into two large apartments featuring beamed ceilings and terracotta-tiled floors and furnished in the traditional Tuscan rustic style.

Dinners and cooking courses are organised upon request.

The owners of the farmhouse live nearby and will be glad to help their guests in case of need.


The Outdoors

The farmhouse is surrounded by a park with an English garden, in which lie the private swimming pool (12x6 m; depth: 1.20-2 m) furnished with sun loungers and a five-a-side-football pitch.
The property also includes a small lake with water lilies, a Vineyard and an olive grove.

An iron pergola is furnished with table and chairs for having meals al fresco.

The barbecue equipment is at guests` disposal.


Accommodation

The farmhouse is a two-storey building divided into four apartments that sleeps 15 guests in 6 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and 1 single bedroom, and has 8 bathrooms.

The apartment on the ground floor sleeps 4 guests and composes of kitchen/living room and two double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with shower.
A second apartment on the ground floor sleeps 2 guests and composes of kitchen, dining room, living room with a double bed and two bathrooms. The living room and one of the bathroom are in the loft, which is reached through an internal staircase.
on the ground floor is also a room with a French-size bed, bathroom with shower and a veranda provided with air conditioning.
The apartment on the first floor sleeps 7 guests and consists of kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace, two double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with shower, a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower and a single bedroom. The apartment is accessed through a flight of stairs that leads to the panoramic terrace overlooking the hills of Chianti.

The farmhouse is equipped with swimming pool, five-a-side-football pitch, air conditioning, working fireplace, barbecue, Internet connection, table-tennis table, oven, microwave oven, cot bed and covered car parking place.
Dinners and cooking lessons are organised upon request.
