Description

The 17th-century farmhouse is set on the side of the hill atop of which stands the town of Montalcino (Siena), in Val d'Orcia, and is surrounded by the vineyards used for the production of the celebrated Brunello. The property affords wonderful views of the surrounding hills and the town of Montalcino.

The house is an excellent departure point for visiting not only nearby Montalcino, but also many other Tuscan cities of art, including Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra and the whole Chianti region. Bagno Vignoni's thermal baths are within a few kilometres of the property.


The Outdoors

A beautiful garden rich in flowers and aromatic plants surrounds the house.

The private swimming pool overlooking the surrounding countryside (5x11 m; depth: 1.20-1.50 m) is exclusively reserved to guests.

A table is at guests' disposal for dining al fresco while admiring the gorgeous panorama.

Three hectares of olive groves surround the property.

The ground floor composes of living room with fireplace and a double bedroom with private bathroom with shower.
On the lower floor are a living room, a wide dining area with kitchen corner and a storeroom.
The first floor consists of a double bedroom with private bathroom with shower and a room with two single beds and private bathroom with bathtub.

Two supplementary single can be added in the bedroom on the ground floor and in the twin bedroom on the first floor.

The lower floor is accessed both from the inside and the outside.
