Description

Far from the chaotic mass tourism flows, the elegant farmhouse is situated in Coreglia Antelminelli, a small village of medieval origins in Garfagnana, near Barga, in the province of Lucca. Coreglia has been designated one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

The estate is located close to the magnificent Romanesque church of the village. Guests will have the opportunity to climb at the very top of the bell tower and enjoy a 360° view over the mountains of Garfagnana.

Built into a hillside, the building enjoys a breathtaking view over the surrounding mountains.

The estate is fully fenced. In the rear garden lies a private heated swimming pool.

The farmhouse features many elements typical of Tuscan houses, such as low ceilings, stone fireplaces, terracotta-tiled floors, exposed stonework walls and brick archways, and is furnished in rustic style.


The Outdoors

An olive tree planted at the centre of the gravelled front garden welcomes guests.

The French doors open onto the rear garden and the paved swimming pool patio, which is shaded by a chestnut tree and surrounded by jasmine.

Guests can have their meals al fresco while admiring the enthralling panorama.


Accommodation

The two-storey farmhouse offers 4 sleeping accommodations in 1 double-bedded room, 1 bedroom with two single beds and 2 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of hallway; small, fully equipped kitchen; dining room with stone fireplace and rustic wooden furniture; living room with stone and brick archway, terracotta-tiled and beamed ceiling and exposed stonework in the walls; one bathroom with shower. The living room and the dining room open onto the rear garden.

On the first floor are a double-bedded room with panoramic view and a bedroom with bunk beds. The double-bedded room opens onto a small balcony commanding the swimming pool and the mountains beyond.

Washing machine, barbecue equipment and sun loungers are in a covered outdoor storage-area accessible from the rear garden.

The farmhouse is provided with heated swimming pool (8 x 4 m), fireplace, heating system, Wi-Fi Internet connection, barbecue equipment, CD player, DVD player, electric oven, microwave oven, washing machine, iron and ironing board.

The estate is fully fenced.
