Description

The magnificent villa is just 10 kilometres from the beaches of Castiglione della Pescaia, a famous seaside resort in Tuscan Maremma that has been awarded with the "blue flag", the certification the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education) attributes to beaches, marinas and tourist operators as an indication of their high environmental and quality standards.

Apart from the spectacular waters of this part of the Tyrrhenian Sea, many places of historic and cultural interest in Maremma - including Vetulonia, Roselle, Punta Ala, Massa Marittima, Buriano and Principina a Mare - are easily reached by car.

The nature oasis of Diaccia Botrona, which hosts herons, greater flamingos and other species of water birds, is a few kilometres from the property.

The rooms of the villa are decorated with good taste and elegance, and the furniture includes antiques and refined pieces.


The Outdoors

The wide garden that surrounds the villa is dotted with cypress, pine and bay trees, rosemary plants and other Mediterranean native species.

A veranda with sliding glass doors near the barbecue area is divided into a sitting area and a dining area, where guests can have their meals al fresco.

A gym is in a wooden building in proximity to the private swimming pool (9x4.5 m: depth: 1.20-1.80 m).


Accommodation

The villa is a four-storey building that sleeps 11 guests in 5 double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom, and has 4 bathrooms.

On the raised ground floor are the kitchen with fireplace, the dining area and a large living room with access to the porch.
The first floor composes of two double bedrooms with private bathroom (one of them with bathtub and the other with shower).
Two more double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub are on the second floor.
A room with a double bed and a dining area, and a bathroom with whirlpool shower and washing machine are on the basement, which is accessed both from the outside and the living room.
