Description
The villa is situated on the hills covered with olive groves that surround the wonderful town of Lucca, just a few kilometres from the beaches of Versilia, the Apuan Alps and the mountains of Garfagnana, in an area where in the past Lucca rich aristocratic families spent their vacations.
Thanks to its geographical position, the villa is an excellent accommodation for those who would like to visit some of the most renowned Tuscan cities of art - including Lucca, Pisa, Volterra and Florence - and discover the many medieval villages scattered in Garfagnana, as well as for those who would like to spend some hours on the beaches of Forte dei Marmi and Lido di Camaiore.
Built in the early 18th century, the villa has been recently renovated with an eye to preserving its original architectural structure. In its rooms, modern style coexists with period furniture.
The villa is also a suitable location for weddings and ceremonies.
The Outdoors
The villa is part of a 6-hectare estate dotted with elegant cypress trees. A 1000-square-metre Italian garden is exclusively reserved to guests.
The kitchen has a direct access to the private swimming pool (5x10 m; depth: 1.30 m), adjacent to the large external dining table.
Accommodation
The three-storey villa sleeps 16 people in 4 double bedrooms and 4 twin-bedrooms, and has 6 bathrooms and 1 half bathroom.
On the ground floor are the elegant hall, the kitchen with direct access to the external dining area and the swimming pool, a large dining room with fireplace, two comfortable living rooms (one with a bar and a gaming table) and a half bathroom.
The first floor composes of a living room, two double bedrooms (one with ensuite bathroom with whirlpool bathtub) and two twin bedrooms that may be converted into double bedrooms (one with ensuite bathroom with shower). The two bedrooms without ensuite bathroom share a bathroom with bathtub and shower.
On the second floor are a living room, two double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with shower and two twin bedrooms that can be converted into double bedrooms. The twin bedrooms share a bathroom with bathtub and shower.

The villa is equipped with swimming pool, barbecue, table-tennis table, Internet connection, air conditioning, working fireplace, satellite TV, DVD player, whirlpool bathtub, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, cot bed and private car parking area.
A cook and maid, baby-sitting and breakfast services are available upon request.
The following services are at guests` disposal: Tuscan cooking lessons, customized guided tours, tour advisor, car/minibus rental, private car with chauffeur, organization of pizza parties and concerts in the villa.

very attractive and well maintained property, good location, staff very helpful, proprietor good host, pool good, meals good - we had breakfast every day, the welcome dinner and pizza evening - the latter being particularly popular with the younger members of the group. Very successful family reunion.

We had the most amazing time at this beautiful villa. It exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect fit for our large group of 14. The house and property was very clean and kept up. The beds were comfortable. The host was so helpful and we had an incredible pizza party put on by his family. We hope to return again.
