The elegant 19th-century villa stands in panoramic position atop a hill in Empoli countryside (Florence), halfway from the town of the lily and Siena. The windows and the two balconies of the luxury vacation villa overlook a breathtaking panorama made of gentle hills covered with olive groves, vineyards and cypress trees. The villa may prove to be the ideal accommodation for those who want to relax, have pleasant walks and bike or horseback rides or dedicate to fishing surrounded by the colours and sounds of the Tuscan countryside. Thanks to its favourable geographical position, the villa is an excellent departure point for one-day trips to Vinci - the birthplace of Leonardo -, San Gimignano, Siena, Florence, Volterra and other important Tuscan cities of art. Gambassi Terme and its thermal baths are 10 kilometres from the villa. The building has been recently renovated with an eye to preserving the original structure and details.


The Outdoors

The villa stands at the centre of a 13-hectare park dotted with olive and cypress trees. In the park lies the private heated swimming pool (18x4 m; depth: 0.50-1.90 m), which overlooks San Gimignano hills. The pool side is furnished with sun loungers and a gazebo for guests to relax in the shade. In the garden there are also two big barbecues and two gazebos furnished for having meals al fresco surrounded by a wonderful panorama.


Accommodation

The luxurious vacation villa is a three-story building; it sleeps 18+2 people in 4 double bedrooms, 5 twin bedrooms and 2 supplementary single beds, and has 10 bathrooms.

The villa composes of well-equipped kitchen, TV room, dining room, billiard room, four double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom, three bedrooms with two single beds that can be united to form a double bed and ensuite bathroom, two bedrooms with two single beds that cannot be united and ensuite bathroom and a tenth bathroom.

One bedroom is on the ground floor, seven are on the first floor and one is on the second floor.

Nine bathrooms have a shower and one is equipped with a whirlpool bathtub.

Two supplementary single beds can be added in the bedrooms upon request (additional charges apply).
