Description

The villa was built in the early 19th century about 400 metres above sea level in San Donato in Fronzano, a village near Reggello, on the hills that surround Florence. The villa stands in panoramic position and has a stunning view of the Chianti hills and the valley of the Arno River.

The villa is an excellent accommodation for those who would like to spend their vacations in the peaceful luxuriant Tuscan countryside. Guests can thus have long walks and bike rides in the surrounding woods.
The nearby Abbey of Vallombrosa is really worth a visit.

The Outdoors

Around the villa stretches a 5000-square-metre garden. The wide panoramic terrace is furnished with table and chairs for having meals al fresco.

In the garden lies the private swimming pool (6x12 m; depth: 1.40 m), surrounded by a large solarium area with a small loggia and a half bathroom.

At the back of the villa are a tennis court with lighting system and a shady area for guests to relax in the hottest hours of the day.

The villa is a three-storey building; it sleeps 14 people in 4 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms, 1 single bedroom and 1 supplementary single bed, and has 5 bathrooms.

The ground floor composes of a large fully equipped kitchen with fireplace, a living room with fireplace, a dining room, and a living room with TV set and music area with a small upright piano.

On the first floor are a billiard room with a gaming table and a reading area, two double bedrooms (one of them has a wide panoramic balcony), one twin bedroom, two bathrooms with shower and one bathroom with bathtub.

On the second floor are two double bedrooms (one with a canopied bed), a twin bedroom, a single bedroom and two bathrooms with shower.

A supplementary single bed can be added in the single bedroom.
