Description

The elegant holiday villa was in the past an aristocratic residence; it dates back to the 18th century and stands in panoramic position in Valdelsa, in Staggia Senese, near Monteriggioni . Its windows and the panoramic yard in front of the building overlook the surrounding countryside and the ancient castle of Monteriggioni .

Thanks to its geographical position, the rental villa is an excellent solution for tourists fond of art and culture: Florence , Siena , San Gimignano , Colle Val d`Elsa and Certaldo are easily reached by car for pleasant one-day trips.

The imposing building has been recently renovated and carefully furnished with period furnishings.


The Outdoors

In the wide yard in front of the building is a gazebo furnished with table and chairs for having meals al fresco.

The private swimming pool (5x10 m; depth: 1.40-1.60 m) exclusively reserved to guests lies in a secluded meadow surrounded by cypresses. The pool side is furnished with sun loungers and deck chairs.

The fully fenced estate features also a terrace with great lemon trees and a park with century-old holm-oaks.


Accommodation

The villa has a livable surface of 500 square metres; it sleeps 14 guests in 5 double-bedded rooms, 2 twin-bedded rooms , and has 6 bathrooms and 1 half bathroom.

On the ground floor are a large entrance hall, a large living room, the fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a storeroom with washing machine, a double bedded room with ensuite bathroom and a half bathroom.

The first floor composes of living room with balcony, one double-bedded room with ensuite bathroom with bathtub and shower, three double-bedded rooms with ensuite bathroom with shower, two twin-bedded rooms and another bathroom with shower.


Facilities

The villa comes with swimming pool, air conditioning, Wi-Fi Internet connection, working fireplace, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer and private car parking place.

Dinners are organised at the villa upon request.

The rent includes a maid service one day a week.

In case of need, guests can contact the keeper responsible for the maintenance of the garden and the swimming pool.
