Description

The villa (8+1 sleeping accommodations) is situated on a hill south of Pisa, commanding the magnificent surrounding countryside. Recently renovated, the villa was in origin the house of manager of the farm, once belonging to the Medici family, whose members used it as a preserve. Surrounded by a 300-hectare park and by olive groves for the production of the famous Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, the villa is provided with all modern comforts (satellite TV, Wi-Fi Internet connection and DVD player) and features a small light aircraft landing area. In the garden of the villa there is the swimming pool (5x10 m), whose characteristic dark tiles create wonderful reflections. The flat roof overlooks the gorgeous surrounding countryside and the nearby villages. Possibility of admiring the stars in the sky thanks to the telescope on the roof. The veranda is provided with an ecological vaporization system, whereas all bedrooms are provided with ceiling fans. Possibility of tasting the olive oil and the other goods produced in the farm and of renting mountain bikes. The villa is an excellent starting point for trips to the most important Tuscan cities of art - Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra -, which are all within easy car distance.


Accommodation

The villa (4 bedrooms + single sofa bed and 3 bathrooms) has two storeys. On the ground floor there are a sitting room-studio with fireplace and satellite TV, fully equipped kitchen, laundry provided with tumble dryer and iron and 1 bathroom with bath tub. On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms, which can either be arranged as twin-bedded or double, and 2 bathrooms with shower. In the largest bedroom there is also a single sofa bed. The villa features a furnished veranda for eating outside and of an eating area covered by a pergola, with the barbecue.
