Description

The villa (8/12 sleeping accommodations) was built in 1785 by a forefather of the present owner and is about 3 kilometres from Monterchi, where at the end of the 16th century Piero della Francesca painted the "Madonna del parto", one of his masterpieces. In 1889, the present owner`s grand-grandfather moved into this historical villa that so far had been the family`s summer residence. The well-kept decoration in the bedrooms dates back to 1902, when the villa was enlarged. The building is surrounded by a 22-hectare park featuring a nature trail and by a rose-garden. The swimming pool (6x12 m) lies about 50 metres from the villa and is furnished with sunshade, gazebo, table, chairs and sunloungers. Both the swimming pool and the garden with barbecue and a toilette are provided with night lighting system. A table tennis table is at guests` disposal.


Accommodation

The villa (6 double bedrooms and 6 bathrooms) spreads out over three floors and is furnished in 19th-century style.

The ground floor is composed by laundry room, living/dining room with satellite TV, hi-fi system and big fireplace and fully equipped kitchen.
The first floor is divided into a second kitchen without dishwasher, living room with Internet connection facilities, 3 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and 1 bedroom with two single beds and en-suite bathroom.
The second floor composes of 2 bedrooms with two single beds and en-suite bathrooms. All bathrooms are provided with hairdryers.
