Description

The villa is situated in a small village near Montaione, at the centre of the triangle formed by Florence, Pisa and Siena. Standing in panoramic position on a hill in the Tuscan countryside, the estate is surrounded by woods, olive groves, vineyards and rows of cypress trees. The villa enjoys a wonderful view over Volterra and the surrounding hills.

The building dates back to mid-20th century and until the 1970s it was the village school. Nowadays it has been completely renovated and divided into two large apartments with independent entrance and communicating through an internal door, furnished with original early-19th-century pieces.


The Outdoors

In the fully fenced garden, about 20 metres from the house, lies the private swimming pool (9.50x5.50 m; depth: 0.60-1.20 m). A swimming pool for children lies adjacent to the big one. The pool side is furnished with sun loungers. The swimming pool is open from mid-April to mid-October.

In the garden are also a gazebo, the barbecue equipment, a wood-burning oven and various areas furnished with tables and chairs for having meals al fresco.

A corner of the garden is furnished with tables and chairs for children and is provided with a sandbox for children to build sand castles.

The villa sleeps 8+2 people in 2 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms and 1 double sofa bed, and has 4 bathrooms.

It composes of kitchen, dining room with fireplace, living room with double sofa bed, large storeroom, two double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms that can be converted into double ones and four bathrooms.

Some mountain bikes, some cot beds and some high chairs are at guests` disposal.

A cook, a baby sitter, a maid service and a breakfast service are available upon request (additional charges apply).
