Description

The elegant villa is located near Sarteano, a village in Sienese Valdichiana, in southern Tuscany.

The villa situated at the centre of a vast estate of more than 800 hectares was built with the rocks of an ancient castle after it was destroyed. A walking path leads to the ruins of the castle. The property includes also an 11th-century abbey.

The villa enjoys a wonderful view of the surrounding valleys and forests and is an excellent solution for having relaxing holidays in the utmost privacy.

Chianciano Terme, San Casciano dei Bagni and Bagni San Filippo thermal baths, as well as Val d'Orcia, Pienza, Montepulciano and Siena are within easy driving distance. Florence, Arezzo and Rome are reached by train from the nearby Chiusi Scalo railway station.


The Outdoors

The villa is surrounded by a wide garden with the private swimming pool (12x6 m), exclusively reserved to guests and equipped with sunshade and sun loungers.

An outdoor dining area with tables and chairs can be arranged in the garden.

The barbecue equipment is at guests' disposal.

The villa is a two-storey building sleeping 9 guests in 2 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms and 1 single sofa bed, and has 4 bathrooms and 1 toilet.

On the ground floor are the kitchen, the dining room with direct access to the garden, the living room with fireplace, a double bedroom with direct access to the garden and private bathroom with shower and a toilet-laundry room.
The first floor composes of a doube bedroom with a single sofa bed and a private bathroom with bathtub, a twin bedroom with a private bathroom with bathtub and a twin bedroom with a private bathroom with shower.

Both of the twin bedrooms can be converted into double bedrooms, upon request.
