Description

The villa (10 sleeping accommodations) stands in panoramic position on the gentle hills in the Chianti district, at the gates of the small village called Vico d`Elsa, between Florence and Siena. The ancient farmhouse dates back to the 17th century and has been recently renovated. The terracotta-tiled rooms with beamed ceilings are carefully furnished with ancient Tuscan furniture and decorated with Persian carpets. Provided with all modern comforts (satellite TV, washing machine, dishwasher, Internet connection and barbecue equipment), the villa is surrounded by a wide garden with the swimming pool (6x12 m), equipped with sun loungers and sunshades, and a porch furnished with a table and some chairs, for guests to eat al fresco enjoying the panorama of the magnificent towers of San Gimignano and the surrounding countryside. A large private parking lot is at the guests` disposal. Bicycle rental service in Barberino Val d`Elsa (8 km), for ridings in the Chianti countryside. Riding stables 5 kilometres from the villa. Situated in the heart of the Chianti district, the villa is an excellent starting point for trips to many famous Tuscan cities of art, such as San Gimignano - the town of the hundred towers, listed among UNESCO World Heritage sites -, Florence, Siena, Volterra, Pisa, Pienza and Montalcino, which are all within easy car reach.

The ground floor is composed of fully equipped kitchen, large living room with fireplace, 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with two single beds and en-suite bathroom with shower and 2 bathrooms with shower. The first floor is composed of living room with billiard and game tables, 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, 2 bedrooms with two single beds and 1 bathroom with shower.
