Description

The elegant villa surrounded by a wide park with Italian garden and olive trees is situated in Valdichiana, between Arezzo - the town of golf and of a celebrated Antique Fair - and Cortona - a town of Etruscan origin that every year hosts a steak feast.
The villa is an excellent point of departure for visiting Cortona, Arezzo, Anghiari, Sansepolcro and Montepulciano, Siena, Florence and other important Tuscan cities of art are within easy driving distance. Some tennis courts, a riding stable and a golf club are within a few kilometres of the villa.

In the past a country residence, the villa has been carefully renovated; it still presents some traditional elements of the Tuscan houses, such as terracotta-tiled floors, wooden beams and brick ceilings. The rooms are elegantly furnished in period style.


The Outdoors

The building is surrounded by a wide garden that affords a splendid view of Valdichiana, which on clear days extends to Lake Trasimeno.

Some steps and a ramp accessible to guests with disabilities lead to the private swimming pool (12x6 m; depth: 1.20-2.00 m) with Roman stairs.

The villa is a three-storey building that sleeps 18+6 guests in 9 double bedrooms and 6 supplementary single beds; it has 9 bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms.

On the ground floor are the kitchen, the living area including a covered veranda, the heated indoor swimming pool with hydromassage and a counter-current swimming system, the sauna, a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and two half bathrooms.
The first floor composes of seven double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom.
Another double bedroom with ensuite bathroom is in the mansard.

Three bathrooms have a whirlpool bathtub.
Six supplementary single beds are available upon request.
